Steps to Check Your MTN Number
To check your MTN number:
- Dial *156#.
- Select option 1 (Check My Number).
- You’ll receive an alert that says, “y’ello, your phone number is 233xxxxxxxxx.”
Other Ways to Check Your MTN Number
1. Check the Starter Pack (SIM Case)
Look at your SIM card starter pack. Every new SIM comes with a starter pack or case. Your phone number, PUK code, and serial number are written on the plastic case that holds the SIM. Keep this card safe for future reference.
2. Send an SMS to a Friend
If you have some airtime or an SMS bundle, send a short message to a friend. Your number will appear as the sender on their phone.
3. Call Someone
You can also call a friend or relative and ask them to tell you the number that appears when you call.
